Sports Radio 850 WEEI-AM Teams up with NorthEast-Eagle Electric to Give one Lucky Town New Sports Lighting System
Friday Night Lights Community Sweepstakes Gives Local Communities the Chance to Light up a Youth Football Field
Boston , MA (September 10, 2007) – Sports Radio 850 WEEI-AM along with NorthEast-Eagle Electrical Distributors has announced the Friday Night Lights Community Sweepstakes. This new contest will give cities and towns from all over New England the chance to win a brand new installed sports lighting system for their youth football league field.
The Friday Night Lights Community Sweepstakes is open to any football fields in all cities or towns in the following states that are used in whole or in part for youth football games: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine and Connecticut. Entry into this contest will only be accepted from an authorized town or city representative. Entries must include the representative’s name, state, town/city they are entering on behalf of, contact phone number, position within the town, email address, name of the field they are nominating, a digital photo no larger than 2mb of the football field, and a short essay (250 words or less) describing why their town/city deserves to win the contest.
August 1, 2007 launched the Enter Your Town timeframe, and only goes until September 30, 2007. For complete rules and entry form visit www.newfridaynightlights.com. Remember the deadline to enter your town is 6:00 p.m. on Sunday September 30, 2007.
Starting on October 1, 2007 and ending on November 30, 2007, all eligible entries that were received will be posted on www.newfridaynightlights.com and the public will be invited to vote. For every 850 votes for a specific football field, that football field will receive one entry in the grand prize drawing. The grand prize winner will be announced on Friday December 7, 2007.
