Ralph Pill Announces Winner of NASCAR Deck Lid Promotion  

CANTON , Mass., October xx, 2008 - Ralph Pill Electric Supply, a division of NorthEast Electrical Distributors and Sonepar USA, is pleased to announce Sutherland Electric as the winner of its 2008 NASCAR Deck and Lid Promotion. The Keene, NH-based Electrical Contractor was awarded the unique and valuable branding opportunity to advertise on the trunk deck lid of the Siemens #19 race car, which recently competed at the New Hampshire International Speedway in the Sylvania 300 on September 14, 2008.

As winner of the Ralph Pill contest, Sutherland Electric received a number of exciting prizes, including VIP seats to the Sylvania 300, a tour of the Pit at New Hampshire International Speedway, a photo opportunity with the Siemens #19 car and driver Elliot Sadler, and additional racing memorabilia.

"It was a great experience having our company logo on a NSCS car,” said Dave Sutherland, Owner of Sutherland Electric.  “Everything from the hospitality tent, to the garage tour, to meeting Kasey Kahne and Elliott Sadler; the whole event was an experience of a lifetime.”

Over 100 contractors from 33 NorthEast Electrical Distributors and Ralph Pill Electric Supply locations throughout New England participated in the Siemens Deck Lid promotion, which ran throughout the month of July. Each contractor was assigned an individual driver number, and was given a purchase bogey to qualify for the race. Sutherland Electric, a customer of the Nashua, NH branch crossed the finish line to win the Grand Prize.

The contests’ second and third place finishers, Minor Electric of Stratham, NH and Rice & Brouiliard of Haverhill, MA, each won a set of general admission tickets to the Sylvania 300.
